Speed warning in icy conditions

Police have warned "reckless" motorists to slow down after catching one driving at more than 90mph in icy conditions.
The driver was travelling on the A9 near Dunblane when he was caught by a mobile speed camera.
A second motorist was also caught driving at 76mph on the A811 out of Stirling, where the limit is 60mph.
Neil MacSporran, from Central Scotland Safety Camera Partnership, said driving at these speeds on icy roads was "clearly irresponsible".
"In normal conditions [it] is clearly irresponsible. With these excessive speeds and the treacherous weather conditions, this becomes reckless," he said.
"The freezing temperatures and icy road conditions alone demand that motorists should slow down and drive with increased care and concentration."
Ch Insp Donald McMillan, from Central Scotland Police, warned that temperatures were forecast to be even colder this weekend and said motorists should reduce their speed and allow greater stopping distances.
"There is no point in taking risks on the roads which could result in a serious or even fatal collision," he said.
